Definitions

1.1

In these rules, unless the contrary intention appears:

"Act" means the Casino Control Act 1992;

"Authority" means the International Casino Control Authority;

"casino promotional voucher" means a voucher of a nominated value offered by the casino operator. A voucher may be redeemed by a patron for an equivalent value in coins, subject to compliance with any specified conditions.

"inspector" means a person appointed under section 106 of the Act;

"slot machine supervisor" means a person responsible for the supervision and management of slot machines in the casino;

"void" means invalid with no result.

2.	Playing of Slot Machines
2.1	The rules of play for each slot machine game, as approved by the Authority, are displayed on each individual slot machine.
2.2	The game shall be initiated by the player activating the correct game commencement function.
2.3	Play options shall be in accordance with the rules of play for each game as displayed on the slot machine's artwork or screen. Such options shall be initiated by the player activating the relevant function(s) of the slot machine.
2.4	Only notes or coin of International legal tender shall be used to play the slot machines in the casino. Acceptable denominations shall be as indicated on individual machines.
2.5	A player's winnings shall be displayed on either an illuminated display or a jackpot display meter.
2.6	The player shall have the option of either using winnings for further game plays or having such winnings returned by the slot machine when the player activates the appropriate cash out function.
2.7	Credits displayed may be collected at the end of any game.
2.8	Credits may be paid by the slot machine returning coins to the drop tray unless the accumulated credits, as indicated on the illuminated display are in excess of a specified limit. Where the indicated credits exceed the machine payout limit, these credits shall be paid to the player manually by procedures approved by the Authority and the credits so paid shall be cancelled from the slot machines credit meter.
